White Sulphur Springs
-Frances M. Fraley, 95, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2023 at Peyton Hospice House with her family by her side.
She was born Nov. 2, 1927 in Mill Point, WV, the daughter of the late William J. and Elsie Mae Sikes Huffman.
Frances was a homemaker and a member of Eakle Chapel United Methodist Church in White Sulphur Springs.
Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jefferson “Jeff” Davis Fraley; sons, Harold Fraley, Carl Fraley and J. D. Fraley; son-in-law, Clarence Dean; two grandchildren; sister, Georgia Burdette and her brother, Bill “Buzz” Huffman.
Surviving are her daughters, Edna Dean of Callahan, FL, Rachel Fraley of White Sulphur Springs, Naomi “Katie” Weiner and husband Steve of Conway, SC, Anna Osborne of Lewisburg and Rebecca Jane Austin of Pompano Beach, FL; sons, Robert Lynn Fraley and wife Maxine of Lake Milton, OH, Eddie Fraley of White Sulphur Springs and Jimmy Fraley and wife Sadie Lillian of White Sulphur Springs; 17 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren; special brother and sister-in-law Tom and Ruth Fraley of Philo, OH; and her special companion “Tia.”
Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 9, at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in White Sulphur Springs where Rev. Steve Grimes officiated. Interment followed in the Hillcrest Cemetery in White Sulphur Springs.
The family received family and friends before the service at the funeral home.
