Owner Brandon Watkins is offering golf instruction, custom club fitting, golf equipment, and merchandise at his new establishment. The facility is meant to teach people who have a love of golf to play the sport more effectively and competitively, while having fun. Refreshments will be provided during the event as well as a free “closest to the pin” competition on the shop’s top-of-the-line simulator and putting contests – with prizes of a free game consult or a custom club fitting. ($75 value).
WV Hive business advisor Mary Legg has been working with Watkins on all aspects of the opening of For the Love of Golf. “Brandon wanted to engage the local golf community and help it grow,” said Legg. “He has done a tremendous job of offering golf lovers, and even those who are not that familiar with the game, a real-life simulated experience that will deepen their relationship with the sport and help them become more active.”
