Feliea Mac Ward Hamm

Parma Heights, OH-Feliea Mae Ward Hamm, 96, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2023 at the Holy Family Health Care & Hospice in Parma, Ohio.

She was born May 30, 1926, in Ramp, WV, a daughter to the late Matthew Daniel Ward and Feliea (Berry) Ward.

Mae was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a faithful member of Pleasant Valley Church in Parma, OH. She enjoyed attending church, crocheting, cooking, working in her flower garden and caring for the babies in the church nursery. But most of all, she will be remembered for her love of spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her daughters, Josephine Ruth (Hamm) Massey and husband Larry, of Parma Heights, OH, and Brenda Sue (Hamm) Vaughan and husband John, of Parma, OH; granddaughters, Shelly Munn and husband Nathan of Cleveland Heights, OH, Beth Moss and husband Terry of North Royalton, OH, Katie Duy and husband Jonathan of Delaware, OH, Julie Duganiero and husband Dan of Broadview Heights, OH, and Kellie Remington and husband Reed of Hinckley, OH; her sister, Gladys Flinchum, of Christiansburg, VA; nine great-grandchildren; as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mae was preceded in death by her loving husband, Kenneth Hamm; her brothers, Joseph Ward, Frank Ward, Harding Ward, Willis Ward, Lloyd Ward, and Jimmy Ward; her sisters, Ruby Graham, Sadie Ward, Lydia Albert, and Maddie Richmond.

Funeral services will be Saturday, Feb. 11, at 11 a.m. at the Lobban Funeral Home Chapel in Alderson with Larry Massey officiating. Burial will follow in the Clayton Baptist Cemetery, Clayton, WV.

Friends may call Saturday, Feb. 11, from 10:30 to 11 a.m. at the Lobban Funeral Home, Alderson, WV.

Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Clayton Baptist Church, 180 Doc Miller Lane, Alderson, WV  24910.

Lobban Funeral Home is honored in being entrusted with the arrangements.
