Neola-Eleanor Faye VanBuren, 81, passed away on Sunday, July 3. 2016, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center.\r\nBorn Aug. 18, 1934, at Neola, she was a daughter of the late Wyatt Dawson and Virginia Glee Thomas Hull.\r\nShe was of the Methodist faith, an avid reader, loved to watch television (especially westerns including every movie staring John Wayne) and loved country music.\r\nPreceding her in death, other than her parents, were daughter, Melissa Deichert; sisters, Oma Gale \u201cSissy\u2019\u2019 Payne, Sharon Alcorn, Dorothy \u201cJeanie\u201d Bunch and Rometa \u201cTootsie\u201d Blankenship; brothers, Marshall, Billy, Spencer \u201cButch\u201d and Gordon Hull.\r\nSurvivors include: sons, Richard VanBuren (Audrey) of White Sulphur Springs, Glen VanBuren (Erica) and John VanBuren all of Neola; sisters, Bonnie Rider of Neola and Cindy Sabota of Marlinton; brothers, Roger Trainer of Neola and Bobby Hull of Erie, PA; grandchildren, Keith VanBuren (Marybeth), Tabitha Withrow (Steve), Nicholas VanBuren (Kara), Megan VanBuren, Glen Wyatt VanBuren and Troy Deichert (Stacy); great-grandchildren, Donavan VanBuren, Madison VanBuren, O\u2019shea Boone, Zack Withrow, Nickara VanBuren and Aiden Deichert.\r\nServices will be held Saturday, July 9, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Shanklin Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby McClintic officiating. Burial will follow in the Watts Cemetery in Neola. Visitation will be from 10 until 11 a.m. at the funeral home.\r\nIn lieu of flowers, donations of sympathy may be made to the White Sulphur Springs Emergency Fund, 589 Main Street West, White Sulphur Springs, WV 24986, in memory of Melissa Deichert.
