Williamsburg-Eleanor Elizabeth Hartsook, 88, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 22, 2022 at Teays Valley.

She was born Oct. 17, 1934, in Virginia, the daughter of the late Robert and Ollie Coffey Bowling.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harlan “Hob” Hartsook.

Surviving are her children, Mike (Theresa) Hall of Scott Depot, WV, Teresa (Wayne) Poling of Mt. Vernon, OH, Jimmy (Denise) Hall of Charleston, WV, Tonja (John) Bossie of Teays Valley; stepchildren, Shirleen (John) Bishop of North Myrtle Beach, SC, Carol Jaeger of Union Grove, WI, James (Susan) Moten of Rosburg, WA, Joyce (Jesse) Martin of Clintonville, Fran (Joe) Lesher of Elkview, Shirlene (Wayne) Andrews of Clintonville, and  Sandy Carroll of Rupert; stepsons-in-law, Jim Hicks of Lewisburg, and Donald “DD” Suttle of Williamsburg; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and many friends to cherish her memory.

Services for Mrs. Hartsook will be on Friday, Dec. 30, at 1 p.m. at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg with Pastor Mike Teubert officiating. Interment will follow in Andrew Chapel Cemetery, Williamsburg, WV.

The family will receive family and friends from 12 noon until time of services at the funeral home.
