EGMS golf team finishes first at Pipestem

The EGMS golf team finished first out of six schools at the Pipestem Par 3 Golf Course on Tuesday, May 5. Twenty-seven golf players from six different schools competed on the Pipestem Par 3 course, for 9 holes, which had a par of 27. The low three players total was counted for each team. Individual and team scores are as follows:

1st Place – Eastern Greenbrier Middle School: Philip Zambos 37, Colin Wiley 40, Sam Jewell 41, Garrett Vaughan 46 and Carrington McCray 49. Team total 118.

2nd Place – Princeton: Aidan Sanders 38, Grant Sarver 41, Gage Adkins 45, and Drew Hopkins 52. Team total 124.

3rd Place – Western Greenbrier Middle School: Ethan Odell 35, Dakota Parker 43, Justin Brown 47, Alex Ayers 49 and Levi Spencer 52. Team total 125.

4th Place – Pikeview: Carson Proffitt 33 (Medalist), Chase Conner 42 and Ethan Jewel 54. Team total 139.

5th Place – Summers County: Timmy Peisiani 43, Jenna Jordan 48, Tatum Fox 49, Cordell Meadows 49, Chris Pack 50 and Abby Bennett 51. Team total 140.

6th Place – Glenwood: Chaning Conner 41, Andrew Davis 52, Elijah Basille 54 and Will Fedele 54. Team total 147.
