Caldwell-Dorothy Jean Williams, 79, passed away Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at Peyton Hospice House in Lewisburg following a long illness.

She was born Aug. 18, 1941, to the late Grover and Goldie Hoke Lucas of Second Creek.

She loved looking through the scope at the cattle in the fields and spending time with her furry companion, “Peanut.”

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Marshall “Peachy” Williams, Sr.

Surviving Dorothy are her remaining siblings, Phyllis Elmore of Union, Charlie (June) Lucas of Ronceverte and Nancy Erskine of Elkins; her three children Vonda (Troy) Honaker of Caldwell, Tammy (Jimmy) White of Organ Cave and Marshall (Stephanie) Williams, Jr. of Organ Cave; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; along with a host of nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Peyton Hospice House, 1265 Maplewood Avenue, Lewisburg, WV 24901.

Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Ronceverte is in charge of arrangements.
