Denny Clifford Morgan, 84, of Elyria, Ohio, formerly of Ronceverte, passed away Friday, Jan. 10, 2025 at the North Ridge Nursing Home in Ohio. Born in Ronceverte on Apr. 14, 1940, he was the son of the late Clifford and Edna Morgan.
While growing up in Ronceverte he attended the Greenbrier Baptist Church. Denny was a member of the Sugar Ridge Baptist Church and also served in the U.S. Army. He retired from the Bendix Corporation in Elyria, Ohio, where he worked as an Assembler. He loved to fish and play golf and was an avid Cleveland Indians and Browns fan and a huge WV Mountaineers fan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Virginia Adams Morgan and a Stepson Larry Adams. He is survived by his sister Shirley Morgan Wood of Columbia Station, Ohio, and two stepsons Mike Adams and Terry Adams and a stepdaughter Sharon Graham and eight grandchildren. He is also survived by six nieces and nephews who love him dearly.
Services will be held at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Ronceverte on Saturday, Jan. 18 at 2 p.m. The burial will follow in the Morgan Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
