David Michael Walter

Lewisburg-David Michael Walter, 62, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, Apr. 4, 2015.

He was born Sept. 18, 1952, in Buffalo, NY, a son of the late Joseph and Frances Walter.

He was confirmed in the Queen of Heaven Catholic Church in Buffalo, NY, was a Marine Corp Veteran and was a bricklayer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, David Walter; sister, Judith Walter; and brothers, Richard and James Walter.

He is survived by: daughters, Jennifer LeClaire of Virginia Beach, VA and Amy Dunkle of Hamburg, NY; sons, David James Walter of Buffalo, NY and Robert Walter of Austin, TX; grandchildren, Samantha, Sabrina and Aiden; companion, Vicky Banks of Lewisburg; sisters, Marie Nuttle and Emily Ring both of Buffalo, NY; and brothers, Joseph Walter, Peter Walter and John Walter all of Buffalo, NY; also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held Thursday evening, Apr. 9, at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Ronceverte, where Michael McCoy officiated.

Visitation was Thursday at the funeral home before the service.
