White Sulphur Springs-David Hoke, 73, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on Friday, Apr. 19, 2019, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital with his wife and daughter by his side.

Dave was born June 10, 1945 to Delvert and Ida Hoke.

He is survived by his wife, Pat Hoke, of 54 years; and daughter, Sandy Hoke; sisters, Diane and husband Danny Weikle of Lewisburg, and Donna and husband J.C. Napier of Lewisburg; brothers, Doug Hoke, and Timmy Hoke and wife Kathy of White Sulphur Springs; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, close friends, and beloved family members.

Dave worked at Hercules, McClung Brothers, Bailey Lumber Company, and The Greenbrier Hotel, until he retired 12 years ago.

He was devoted to his family, church, and he enjoyed going to the beach, riding motorcycles, and spending time with his family and friends.
