Church of God in Alderson
The River of Life Church of God in Alderson will hold a fall festival Saturday, Sept. 21 at 10 a.m. There will be vendors, food, free games, Origami Owl, Scentsy, Avon and Thirty One. Everyone is invited to come join the fun.

New River Unitarian Universalist Fellowship
service Sunday, Sept. 22 will be at 11 a.m. Visitors are welcome to attend. The Fellowship is located at 911 South Kanawha Street, Beckley. For further information call 304-252-4016.

St. James Episcopal Church
will have a fall sale next week (Thursday, Friday & Saturday) Sept. 26, 27 and 28 from 8 a.m. to noon. We have furniture, tools, housewares and many other items. Church is located at 218 Church Street.

Frankford Presbyterian Church
will have a Pancake & Sausage Breakfast Saturday, Sept. 28, from 7 a.m. until the start of the Autumn Fest Parade at 10 a.m. They will be serving buttermilk and buckwheat pancakes and sausage, sausage biscuits, and sausage and gravy. The price of the meal is $5 for adults and $3 for children under 6. Carry-out available.

Oak Grove United Methodist Church
will hold a Fall Festival Saturday, Sept. 28 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the church in Ballengee; featuring apple butter making, yard sale, craft sale and jam & jellies for sale. Lunch served: soups, hotdogs, salads and desserts.

St. Thomas’ Episcopal Church
will host the Blessing of the Animals on their front lawn in White Sulphur Springs on Wednesday, Oct. 2 at 5:30 p.m. Donations are appreciated and all proceeds will go to the Humane Society.

Johnson Memorial United Methodist Church
will host a weekly children’s program called “Jesus Tech” for preschool through 5th grade. Starting Thursday, Oct. 3 from 6-7:30 p.m. Dinner will be served each week. Children will learn about Jesus through Drama, Art, Cooking, Music, Science, Games and Video. Everyone is welcome. Please contact Pastor Rick Duncan at 304-445-7814 for more information. Pence Springs Community Church
will hold Fall Revival services Oct. 6-9 at 7 p.m. “Butch” Honaker will be the speaker. Pastor Roger Persinger and the congregation invite everyone to attend these services.

Greenbrier Valley Aglow Community Lighthouse
holds monthly meetings the third Monday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Fairfield Inn in Lewisburg. Aglow International is an inter-denominational group of women and men whose vision is to carry the truth of the kingdom that restores people to a radiant place of relationship with God and one another.
