Greenbrier Valley Church of the Nazarene
will present acclaimed 1972 Christian film A Thief in the Night Saturday evening, Nov. 9 at 7 p.m. The film was shown in hundreds of churches and youth groups throughout the 1970s and focuses on what many in Evangelical churches refer to as “the rapture,” believed to the major event preceding the Great Tribulation before the second coming of Christ. The church is located at Davis Stuart Road and Dawkins Drive in Fairlea, one-half mile south of Greenbrier Valley Medical Center. New River Unitarian Universalist Fellowship
service Sunday, Nov. 10 will begin at 11 am. Visitors are welcome to attend. The Fellowship is located at 911 South Kanawha Street, Beckley. For further information call 304-252-4016.

Bethel Pentecostal Holiness Church
will host a memorial service Sunday, Nov. 10, with the placing of flags on veterans’ graves, lighting of luminaries around the graveyard at 5 p.m., and taps at 6 p.m. An indoor service will follow immediately. All are invited. Those who have loved ones buried in Bethel Cemetery are given a special invitation to attend and take part in the lighting ceremony and indoor service. The church is located on Hokes Mill Road, Organ Cave.

Trinity Methodist Church
On Thursday, Nov. 14, Trinity Methodist Church in Ronceverte invites you to their annual Autumn Harvest Turkey Dinner which will be held from 5-7 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. The menu is turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, green beans, cranberry salad, rolls, cakes and beverages. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children 8 and under. Carry-outs are available from 4-6 p.m. The church is located at the corner of Pocahontas Avenue and Walnut Street two blocks from the Ronceverte Public Library and is handicapped available. Meadow Grove Baptist Church
will host the Promised Land Quartet live in concert Sunday, Nov. 17 at 11 a.m. at the church on Springdale Road in Dawson. For more information please call 304-392-9818 or 304-539-2100.

Greenbrier Valley Aglow Community Lighthouse
holds monthly meetings the third Monday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Fairfield Inn in Lewisburg. Aglow International is an inter-denominational group of women and men whose vision is to carry the truth of the kingdom that restores people to a radiant place of relationship with God and one another.
