Christmas Worship Schedule
at Christ Our Savior Lutheran
The Members of Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church, located at 103 Railroad Avenue in Alderson, invite you to join them in the following worship services. Christ Our Savior is located in the Historic District of Alderson just beyond the Fire Department.
- Christmas Eve, Dec. 24: 5 p.m., Candlelight Worship with Holy Communion, a dessert fellowship follows the worship service.
- Christmas Day, Dec. 25: 10 a.m., The Feast of the Nativity of Our Lord, The Day of Christ’s Birth with Holy Communion.
- The First Sunday After Christmas, Dec. 26: Note: No Family Education Hour this Sunday.
Please note that Dec. 26 will be Pastor Lohmeyer’s final service at Christ Our Savior Lutheran. He will be retiring on Dec. 31.
100th Birthday Invitation
Clayton Tyree will celebrate his 100th birthday on Jan. 9, 2022! A birthday party in his honor will be held at the Dutch Haus Restaurant at the Elks Country Club on Sunday, Jan. 9 from 1 to 4 p.m. All are welcome. No presents, please. In lieu of presents you may bring a donation or something the Animal Shelter can use.
