Free drive-thru Holiday Meal
The Edgewood Presbyterian Church is holding a free drive-thru holiday meal on Saturday, Dec. 4, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church, 162 Harper Road, Lewisburg. There will be turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans, rolls, and dessert. Please stay in your vehicle and the meal will be brought out to you. Fried pies will be for sale for $3 each in apple, cherry, and peach while supplies last.
Winter Bazaar at Caldwell Church
The Caldwell Pentecostal Holiness Church will have a Winter Bazaar on Saturday, Dec. 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the new church. The Bazaar will consist of candies, baked goods and crafts. Proceeds from the event will go toward a scholarship fund to award a graduating high school / college senior from out community. The youth from the church will provide a hot meal during the Bazaar, all the funds will go toward the expenses for Acceleran.
Live Nativity
The Caldwell Pentecostal Holiness Church presents their Live Nativity on Saturday, Dec. 11 at 6 p.m. at the old church lot off Rt. 60 on the Camp Bailey Road. This Live Nativity will tell the story of the birth of Jesus. It will consist of the birth of Jesus and all the characters and animals included in the Bible. Live singing will be included by our local choir and others. Plan on attending and spending part of your Christmas time with us. Hot chocolate and cookies will be served at the church afterwards.
