Lewisburg – Christopher Shannon Hoke, 47, passed away Monday, May 22, 2023.
He was born Feb. 15, 1976, in Ronceverte, the son of Larry and Linda Martin Hoke.
Shannon was of the Church of God faith. He worked for Lynch Construction and was an avid hunter, fisherman, kayaker and was involved with anything outdoors. Shannon was a veteran with the U.S. Army.
Preceding him in death was a sister, Glenda Hull.
Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Larry and Linda Hoke of Alderson; sisters, Misty Brewer (Kenneth) of Covington, VA, Miranda Hoke of White Sulphur Springs, and Crystal Sanguancheep (Jeremy) of Union; brothers, Gary Hull (Bonita) and Greg Hull (Teresa) all of Covington, VA; girlfriend, Brittany Hinkle of Lewisburg; nieces and nephews, Chloe Hill, Timber Scott, Austin Scott, Addelyn Hoke, Travis Kincaid, Christine VanBuren, Dustin Hull, Dawn Nelson, Myriah Chapman, Samantha Hambrick, Kat Sanguancheep, Mangus Sanguancheep, Kayla Brewer, Allison Brewer and Grace Brewer.
The family held a Celebration of Life in honor of Shannon on Saturday afternoon, May 27, at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in White Sulphur Springs.
In lieu of flowers the family wishes that monetary contributions be made to Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
