Chester “Bucky” Feamster, Jr. 84, of White Sulphur Springs passed on Sept. 15, 2025 at 4 a.m. at the White Sulphur Springs Family Care Center.
He was born Sept. 22, 1940, in Alderson, the son of the late Chester Feamster, Sr. and Virginia Meador Feamster.
Bucky was a former member of the Feamster Memorial Baptist Church in Alderson. He served four years in the U. S. Air Force and was a retired employee of 32 years with CSX Railroad.
Bucky was a talented musician on guitar, piano and vocals in solo performances and two bands – Country Classics of Greenbrier County and Dapper Dans of North Carolina.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three half brothers; Joe, Dale and Phil Feamster.
Survived by his wife Linda Sue Corron Feamster of 54 years of marriage; son Michael (Pam) Feamster of Roanoke, VA; a sister Beverly (Leroy) Pack of North Carolina; a half sister, Gay Van Harmon of Michigan and a half sister-in-law Carolyn Feamster of Alderson.
Funeral services for Bucky Feamster will be held Tuesday, Sept. 23, at 1 p.m. at the White Sulphur Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Gene Sizemore officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in White Sulphur Springs.
The family will receive family and friends from 12 noon until 1 p.m. at the church on Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2025.
