An Open House for anyone interested in learning more about the Commercial Drivers License (CDL) course offered by Dabney S. Lancaster Community College will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 14, beginning at 7 p.m. in Room 502, McCarthy Hall, on the DSLCC Clifton Forge (VA) campus.
The first CDL class of 2015 starts on Saturday, Jan 17. Representatives from four local trucking companies will be hand to introduce prospective students to the transportation industry, to learn about the careers in that industry and what the industry looks for in job candidates when filling those career positions. Tuition funding sources and how to qualify for those funds will also be covered.
