Carnegie Hall presents Illstyle & Peace Productions performance and workshop

illstyleHip-hop dance group Illstyle & Peace Productions will perform on the Carnegie Hall Mainstage at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 10. The group will also present a hip-hop dance workshop at 10 a.m., Friday, Nov. 11.
lllstyle & Peace Dance Productions is a multicultural Philadelphia-based dance company founded in 2002 by Brandon “Peace” Albright. The company creates work rooted in contemporary, West African and old-school hip-hop styles blended with an eclectic mix of dance and performance disciplines including tap, ballet, DJing and beatboxing.
The Mainstage Lounge host for this performance is Greenbrier Medical Arts Pharmacy.
Especially for the performance on Nov. 10, Carnegie Hall is offering $7 Student Rush tickets in advance. Students may call the box office to take advantage of the offer, and teachers may call to buy blocks of seats at this rate.
The workshop costs $5, which may be paid in advance or on the day of the event.
