Carnegie Hall Book Club presents ‘Between the World and Me’

between-the-world-and-me2Join Carnegie Hall for an interactive discussion of “Between the World and Me” by Ta-Nehisi Coates at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 3, in the Carnegie Hall Board Room.
“Between the World and Me” is a poetic and poignant letter to Coates’ young son, addressing ideas of racial construct throughout American history and confronting these same issues within the context of current events.
Described as “visceral, eloquent and beautifully redemptive” by Toni Morrison, the personal narrative provides a wealth of rich material for an evening of thought-provoking dialogue.
