Sundae Sunday in Williamsburg

will be held Sunday, Aug. 21, from 4 to 6 p.m., at the Williamsburg Community Building picnic shelter. Come build your own sundae – there will be bananas, brownies, sauces of all sorts, caramel, strawberry, butterscotch and homemade chocolate sauce, top with chopped peanuts, whipped cream and a cherry. Flood responder retreat scheduled

A resilience and renewal retreat for disaster responders will be held Friday, Aug. 26 at Old Stone Presbyterian Church in Lewisburg. The event is sponsored by Presbyterian Disaster Assistance and the Presbytery of West Virginia. Annual Democratic Picnic

The Annual Greenbrier County Democratic Picnic will be held Sunday, Aug. 28, at 4 p.m. The covered dish event will be held at the home of Senator Ron and Cindy Miller. Jewelry Trunk Show at GVT

Greenbrier Valley Theatre (GVT), the State Professional Theatre of West Virginia, will host a jewelry trunk show in the Daywood Lobby Sunday, Aug. 28. The event is free and open to the public from 5-8 p.m. Jewelry artisan Alan Anderson will be at Greenbrier Valley Theatre to showcase an eclectic mix of costume jewelry. Beaded handbags, brooches, necklaces, earrings and much more will be on display. Complimentary hors d’oeurves and beverages will be served.

Art & Craft Show at Fairgrounds

This year the 36th Annual Art & Craft Show sponsored by Edgewood Presbyterian Church will be held Sept. 16, 17 and 18 at the WV State Fair Event Center.
