Blanche Virginia Taylor

Lawrenceville, GA-Blanche Virginia Taylor, 99, passed away Saturday, Apr. 4, 2015, at Delmar Gardens in Lawrenceville, GA.

She was born Aug. 20, 1975, at Alleghany, VA, a daughter of the late John and Bessie Lewis Barley.

Blanche was a graduate of Ronceverte High School, a member of Boomer Methodist Church and was a retired Teacher’s Aide with the Fayette County Board of Education.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eudel Taylor.

She is survived by: daughter, Judy Cash of Apex, NC; son, Doug Taylor of Fayetteville, and step-son, Raymond Taylor of Richmond, VA; grandchildren, Karl Taylor of Greensboro, NC, Steve Wyant of Raleigh, NC, Lisa Shifflett of Wilmington, NC, Kurt Taylor of Atlanta, GA, Ryan Taylor of Dallas, TX, and Reilly Corkran of Atlanta, GA; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Grace Bauserman of Ronceverte; and brother, Everette Barley of Princeton, WV.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Apr. 11, at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg, with Rev. Kenny Hylton officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Cemetery, Lewisburg.

Visitation will be held from 12 noon until 2 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home in Lewisburg.
