Betty Sue Ford

White Sulphur Springs-Betty Sue Ford, 82, passed away Friday, Feb. 22, 2019, at the Peyton Hospice House in Fairlea.

She was born Apr. 17, 1936, in White Sulphur Springs, to the late Russell and Daisy Ella Feury Ford.

She was a retired school teacher for over 40 years teaching 4th grade at Callaghan Elementary School, and a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church in White Sulphur Springs.

Other than her parents she was preceded in death by brother, Harold Ford.

Survivors include, like a daughter, Saundra Rider of White Sulphur Springs; like a grandson, Anthony Dale O’Brien; several nieces and nephews; twin-sister, Mary Lou Fogus of White Sulphur Springs; and brother, “Bo” Donald Conrad Ford of White Sulphur Springs.

Funeral services were held on Monday, Feb. 25, at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in White Sulphur Springs, where Pastor Shari Stilgenbauer, and Pastor James Black officiated. Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Visitation was held on Sunday evening, Feb. 24, at the funeral home.
