Betty Jean Goodall O’Brien

Ronceverte-Betty Jean Goodall O’Brien, 87, passed away Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016, at The Brier Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Ronceverte.
Born May 20, 1929, at Ronceverte, she was the daughter of Dewey and Loxie Folden Goodall.
Betty was a very kind, gentle, loving, caring and giving individual. Home and family were her focus in life. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church and belonged to the United Methodist Women’s Group and Circle 3. Betty volunteered at The Brier for many years. She was a cancer survivor and belonged to the Breast Cancer Support Group.
In addition to her parents. she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry O’Brien; sister, Elaine Arbaugh; and brother, Lewis “Bud” Goodall and wife, Erma Jean “Wicky” Goodall.
She is survived by her special nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held on Tuesday, Oct. 11, at Greenbrier Memorial Gardens where Pastor David Stilgenbauer officiated.
In lieu of flowers. the family requests donations be made to the Trinity United Methodist Church, 707 Pocahontas Avenue, Ronceverte, WV 24970.
