Becky Louise Tallman

Lewisburg-Becky Louise Tallman, 60, passed away, Friday, Sept. 28, 2018, at the Peyton Hospice House, Lewisburg.

Born Apr. 3, 1958, at Buckhannon, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Shirley Nitz Tallman.

Becky was a Registered Nurse at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center for many years. She loved her work and patients. Becky graduated from West Virginia Tech in 1978 with her nursing degree. She was a member of the Lewisburg United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by an infant sister, Pamela Sue Tallman.

She leaves behind a sister, Melody Sheppard (John) of Salem, VA; brother, Kenny Tallman (Millie) of Muddy Creek Mountain; nephew, Keith Sheppard (Ashley); great-niece and nephew, Kelsey and Mason Sheppard; her best friend and caregiver, Bertha Weikle; and last of all, her beloved pet Yorkie, Sophie.

Funeral service was held Tuesday, Oct. 2, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel, where Rev. Tim Halloran officiated. Burial was in Rosewood Cemetery, Lewisburg.

Visitation was Monday evening at the funeral home.
