Lewisburg-Anna Mae Napier, 87, passed away, Thursday, Jan. 17, 2019, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Born June 1, 1931, at Lewisburg, she was the daughter of the late Estil Everette Brant and Julie Mae Terry Brant.
Mrs. Napier had worked for the Hamiltons for over 20 years and was a member of the former Calvary Baptist Church at Lewisburg.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 34 years, Melvin Eugene Napier; sisters, Nellie Markham, Janet Osborne and Gladys Davis; and brothers, Oather, Billy, Paul, Kenny and Gary Brant.
Survivors include her daughter, Gail Heck (Walter) of Vinton, VA; son, Dale Napier (Josie) of Lewisburg; grandson, Nick Napier (Mel) of Ronceverte; sisters, Betty Roach (Richard), Alzada Thomas (Kenny) all of Lewisburg and Alice Alderman of White Sulphur Springs; two step-great-grandchildren, Taylor and Dylan Ward; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service was held on Sunday, Jan. 20, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel, 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg, where Pastor Kenny Baker officiated. Burial was in Rosewood Cemetery, Lewisburg. Visitation was Sunday one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home.
