Alice Marie Kershner

Asbury-Alice Marie Kershner, 73, passed away Saturday, Aug. 13, 2022, at the Peyton Hospice House, Lewisburg.

Born July 11, 1949, in Helen, WV, she was the daughter of the late Willie Edgar and Ruth Snider Hayworth.

Alice was a homemaker and was a member of the Grace Bible Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter, Rachel Ann Kershner; sisters, Patricia Kershner and Barbara Shrader; and brothers, Robert, and Roland Hayworth.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, James Kershner; son, Aden James Kershner; daughters, Ginger Estep (Howard) of Asbury, Robin Farmer (David) of Alderson, and Kathy Kershner of Alderson; brother, Jerry Lee Hayworth of North Carolina; sisters, Angela Privett (Mert) of New Richmond, WV, and Brenda Hayworth of Stephenson, WV; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service was held on Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in the Asbury Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation was one hour prior to the service, Wednesday at the funeral home.
