Alice Mae Robinson Sharp, 88, of White Sulphur Springs passed away Sunday, Feb. 2, 2025 at 4 a.m. at Genesis HealthCare Center in White Sulphur Springs, WV.
She was born Sept. 17, 1936 in Blue Sulphur Springs, the daughter of the late John and Lillian Robinson.
Alice was dedicated to her church (First Baptist Church in White Sulphur Springs), her children, her grandchildren and to many others.
She had worked at The Greenbrier Resort in the laundry department for 30 plus years.
Alice enjoyed giving, reading her bible, going to bible studies and her greatest joy was walking (running).
Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore C. Sharp, Sr. after 70 years of marriage; son Theordore L. Sharp, Jr.; four sisters and two brothers.
Mrs. Sharp is survived by daughter Dorothy M. Sharp Millner; two sons Chester L. Sharp (Tammy) and James E. Sharp (Ruth) all of White Sulphur Springs; sister Nannie Mae King of Alexandria, VA.; 8 grandchildren, Jerry V. Gore of Australia, Theodore Sharp III of Raleigh, NC, Regina Sharp Bailey of Woodbridge, VA, Cherita S. Roberts (Gary) and James E. Sharp, Jr. both of Columbus, OH, Johnathan M. Dickerson of Lewisburg, Ba Desha L. Sharp of Roanoke, VA and Michael Sharp (Angela) of Foster, WV; 23 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service for Mrs. Sharp is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 12, at 1 p.m. at Rhema Christian Center in Fairlea with Pastor Greg Scott and Pastor Kathie Holland officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenhill Cemetery in White Sulphur Springs.
The family will receive family and friends from 12 noon until time of services on Wednesday at the church.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Gore, James Sharp, Johnathan Dickerson, Michael Sharp, Gary Roberts and James Sharp, Jr.
