Recently, students who took the WVGSA State Tests and exceeded standards were honored in a ceremony attended by guests, families, and members of the Board of Education. It is always a great accomplishment to exceed standards in academic testing, and it is even more special when that achievement is recognized and celebrated. Exceeding the standards means they have demonstrated a higher level of mastery on a subject matter than is expected for their grade level.
The recognition not only acknowledged the students for their hard work and dedication, but it also highlighted the importance of setting high standards and striving to exceed them. The students’ success is a testament to their commitment to their education, as well as the support and encouragement they received from their families and school.
