Cleveland, OH-Ruth G. McChesney Wilson, 71, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2014, at Regency Hospital in Cleveland.
Born Feb. 1, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Forest and Sallie McChesney.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Albert Pondexter and Samuel Pondexter, both of Marlinton.
She is survived by: sons, Keith Pondexter of Marlinton and Antoni Pondexter of Caldwell; sisters, Hazel Miller of Ronceverte and Virginia Jefferson of Cleveland; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family received friends Thursday afternoon, July 31, followed by a funeral service at the Van Reenen Funeral Home in Marlinton, where Rev. Greg E. Scott officiated.
Interment was in Brownsburg Cemetery.
