2019-20 Kindergarten and Pre-K Enrollment Fair scheduled

Greenbrier County Schools will host a Kindergarten and Pre-K Enrollment Fair on Saturday, Apr. 6, at the West Virginia State Fairgrounds from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Children who turn five prior July 1, 2019 are eligible for Kindergarten for the 2019-20 school year. Children who turn four prior to July 1, 2019 are eligible for Pre-K enrollment. The enrollment fair is for children who are not already enrolled in Greenbrier County Schools Pre-K program. The registration process, which takes approximately one hour to complete, includes screenings for the child enrolling.

Parents enrolling a child in Kindergarten should bring their child and the following documents:

  1. State issued Birth Certificate
  2. Social Security Card
  3. Two proofs of Residency
  4. Five Year physical and immunization record
  5. Last dental exam
  6. Custody papers, if applicable

Parents enrolling a child in Pre-K should complete the online registration form at greenbriercountyschools.org and bring their child and the following documents to the enrollment fair:

  1. State issued Birth Certificate
  2. Social Security Card
  3. Two proofs of Residency
  4. Most recent physical and immunization record
  5. Last dental exam
  6. Proof of income (2018 W-2s or 2018 Tax Return)
  7. Insurance card
  8. Custody papers, if applicable
