WVFD reports successful music festival; plans another

The Williamsburg Volunteer Fire Department (WVFD), was proud to announce the success of the fourth annual music festival of 2022. The crowd enjoyed a beautiful day for all of the festivities on Sept. 17 last year. Attendees listened to the music of Richie Holiday, Erin Green, Appalachian Countdown, Thomas Taylor, and Stockyard Parade. Everyone enjoyed the fresh grilled chicken, homemade potato salad, homemade baked beans, Dippin’ Dots ice cream, nachos/chips, cotton candy, and ice-cold sodas. Vendors also enjoyed the festival and had a successful evening. The WVFD wants to thank the musicians, vendors, volunteers, anyone who helped in any way, and all those who came to celebrate the day with the fire department and support us.
The WVFD will host its fifth annual festival on Sept. 2, 2023. A host of new entertainers and music will be offered all day.
