WV Wrestling Dual Team State Championships to be held next weekend

The fourth annual West Virginia Wrestling Dual Team State Championship will be held on Friday, Feb. 3, and Saturday, Feb. 4, at the West Virginia State Fairgrounds in Fairlea. Weigh-ins will be held at the Underwood Building, and the wrestling venue will be in the West Virginia Building. Doors to the wrestling venue open at 9:30 a.m. both days.

This event is endorsed by the WVSSAC and sponsored by the West Virginia Wrestling Coaches Association. It is the premier Duel Team Championship in the state. The top eight teams from around the state will be represented in both divisions, AAA and AA/A, for a total of 16 teams. Over 300 high school wrestlers will be completing, and over 1,000 visitors from across the state are expected to attend this event.

The two-day championship will be broadcast live on flowrestling.com, and Mat Time WV will provide interviews and live updates. Concessions will be available at the venue.
