This will be a busy and exciting month as the WV Fine Artisans Gallery prepares for the fall colors with several workshops that should be of interest to anyone who loves art.
Rose Dobbins will be teaching a classes in pastels on Sept. 10 and 24. The classes will cover underpainting technique and the minimal use of soft pastels to complete the painting.
The gallery will also offer a fall-themed quilting class with Robbin Hatchett on Sept 17. Students will complete a table topper for Halloween or fall colors.
Also, a watercolor class is scheduled for the afternoon of Sept. 24 with instructor Diane Mitchel. Mitchel has a wonderful technique for painting fruit and flowers using pen and ink with vivid watercolor.
