WV DAR scholarship awarded

Lisa McNeil, Scholarship Chair; Hali Sebastian; and Melinda Davis, WV State Regent for the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution.

On July 27, Hali Sebastian, a senior Radiologic Science student at the University of Charleston, was presented with the 2018-19 Blanche L. Reymann State Scholarship at the Daughters of the American Revolution Southern District meeting held at the Elks Country Club in Lewisburg.

Hali is the daughter of Barbara Powell and Michael Sebastian. She is a member of the Radiologic Science Club, the Science Honor Society, Ki Beta Phi and is on the Provost List.

The West Virginia State Society, NSDAR has awarded the scholarship annually since 1967 to a female student who is entering her senior year in one of the West Virginia private colleges and universities.  The Reymann Scholarship rotates among several private colleges and universities in the Mountain State.
