The Williamsburg Fair will feature hand-made basketry, quilts, canned goods, fresh produce and more on July 26-27 at the Williamsburg Community Building.

The 71st Annual Williamsburg Community Fair is coming Friday, July 26 and Saturday, July 27.

Interested participants are invited to plan ahead and bring their hand-made quilts, baskets, flower arrangements, handwork, fresh vegetables, canned goods, painting and anything else they want to display in the exhibits. Entries may be brought to the Williamsburg Community Building on Thursday, July 25, from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Friday from 8 to 10 a.m.

Decorate your tractor, truck, car, bike, scooter, stroller or other things that move to enter as a float in the Fair parade. Registration begins at 9:15 on Saturday, July 27 in front of the Community Building. Don’t forget to wear your helmet.

Entertainment this year will be Ben Hersman and The Sons of the Mountain Band on Friday evening and Backyard Band on Saturday, both beginning at 7 p.m. Donations are appreciated.

Again, the fair will feature our home-made biscuits and gravy and a full breakfast on Friday, beginning at 9 a.m. Concessions will be open until 10 p.m.

This year’s theme is “Better Together.” Look for our Schedule of Times and Events at www.williamsburgWV.com. Plan to join us for fun and good “eats” on July 26 and 27 in Williamsburg. Questions? Phone: 304-645-3690 or 304-392-6192.
