Renick – William “Bill” Mason Allen, 63, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2020, at Greenbrier Medical Center.
Bill was born Nov. 13, 1956, in Greenbrier County to the late Joseph Calvin and Euva Mae Blake Allen.
Bill was a lifelong resident of West Virginia. He worked as an arborist; loved music and horses.
He was preceded in death by paternal grandmother, Ruth Jamella; his maternal grandparents, Mason Taylor Blake (whom he considered his hero) and Georgia Mae Wolverton Allen; his brother, James Lee Allen; and dear friend, Luna Morrison.
Those left behind to treasure his memory are his son, Jason Lee (Krysti) Allen of Ronceverte; three sisters, Sandra Ruth Allen (Frank) Dorazio of Upper Marlboro, MD, Maria Mae Allen (Joe) Nairn of King George, VA and Linda Jo Allen Nairn of Falls Church, VA; and two granddaughters, Gabrielle and Alexei Allen. Bill will also be greatly missed by his four-legged buddies, his horse, Rowdy and his cat. Tom.
Per his wishes, he was cremated. A celebration of his life will be held at a date and time to be determined, for his family and friends.
McCraw Funeral Home in Frankford is in charge of arrangements.
