William (Bill) Zimmerman comes to Hometown Appraisals & Realty with a background in Construction and Auctions. He has been extremely successful in business, and will be a huge asset to the firm. Bill’s past experience and knowledge will enable him to help client’s market, sale, auction and purchase properties throughout the Greenbrier Valley, Monroe County and the surrounding areas.

Bill has been a lifelong resident of Greenbrier County and resides on a small farm in Organ Cave with his lovely wife of 36 years, Anita. Bill also has been blessed with two children and three grandchildren. Bill enjoys farming and raising cattle on his farm in Organ Cave and on another in Monroe County.

Shortly after graduation Bill started his own construction business and has operated that business for 30 years. For the past 12 years Bill has been a co-owner of Simply Country, with his wife Anita. This business specializes in hand crafted furniture, home décor and vintage antiques. Just recently the business has expanded and is opening up a store by restoring the Old Boones Station in the Organ Cave Area. This location at the corner of Monroe Draft and Rt. 219 will be home to Simply Country and a branch office for Hometown Appraisals and Realty.

This office will allow for Bill to serve clients as a Realtor and assist with auctions for Bakers Auction where he is currently an apprentice auctioneer. Bill is a Realtor and a member of Greenbrier Valley Board of Realtors, MLS, and the National Association of Realtors.
