William A. McMillion

Renick-William A. McMillion went home to be with the Lord on Friday, Oct. 27, 2017, after a battle with cancer.

Bill was the son of the late Verner E. and Thereasa McMillion.

Bill was employed and retired from Hercules Inc. in Covington, VA, and was a veteran of the Navy. He was a member of the Mount Herman United Methodist Church in Renick.

Bill was preceded in death by his loving wife, Clara Bell Kirk McMillion. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Harold, Robert and Paul and sister, Elizabeth.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Betty Jane McMillion; her son, Jimmy Stone; her three daughters, Lea Stone, Evonne and Rob Richards, and Tracy and Rob Nelson; along with her seven grandchildren, Morgan, Brittany, Levi, Trevor and J.D Finn, Lea M Stone and Hunter Rapp and seven great-grandchildren. Bill is survived by their three sons, Jeff and his wife Kim and their daughter, Allie and her husband Mark Hinson; Greg and sons Shawn and Connor and their mother Jackie Winebrimmer, as well as Anna, Tanner and Abby and their mother Deanna McClintic; Billy and his wife Sheri and sons Tyler and Adam; as well as his brother, Verner Jr. McMillion; two sisters, Norma Loudermilk and Juanita Harvey; and many numerous nieces and nephews that he cherished very much.

Funeral services will be held at the Mount Herman United Methodist Church in Renick Monday, Oct. 30, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Ron Miller officiating.

Visitation will be at the church from 12 noon until time of service.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Mount Herman United Methodist Church in Renick or Peyton Hospice House in Fairlea.
