Save the date for the 6th annual Wild Game Cook-off on Saturday, Oct. 6. A fundraiser for White Sulphur Springs Main Street, presented by Lynch Construction Company, the Wild Game Cook-off celebrates our Appalachian culture with great food, local vendors, a car cruise-in, and a beer garden hosted by Greenbrier Valley Brewing Company.

Tickets for the event are now on sale at City Hall downtown White Sulphur Springs. For $15, you get admission to the event, tastings of all the recipes offered, and two beer/drink tickets. All proceeds go to White Sulphur Springs Main Street and our continued recovery, revitalization, and development efforts.

We are excited to offer cash prizes for the winners of the cook-off this year. Along with bragging rights, first place, second place, and People’s Choice winners will leave the event with cash in hand. We are also inviting car enthusiasts to join us for a cruise-in during the event.

The Wild Game Cook-off will be held at Midland Trail Park this year. Along Howard’s Creek, the location is in the middle of downtown White Sulphur Springs adjacent to businesses, retailers, and restaurants. White Sulphur Springs is experiencing an exciting transition and we look forward to spending the afternoon with you. Stop by and grab your own WSS tee or Wild Game Cook-off koozie.

The 2018 Wild Game Cook-off is presented by Lynch Construction Company, Greenbrier Physicians, The Greenbrier, Greenbrier Medical Arts Pharmacy, Gillespie’s Flowers & Productions, 50 East, Greenbrier Valley Brewing Company, Factory Tire, and Tom Cross.

The cook-off is a great compliment to all of the events happening in WSS that weekend. As the annual Fall Fling kicks off on Friday, events will take place in town all weekend long. Come join us for a weekend celebrating our favorite season in White Sulphur Springs.

We are still accepting registration for both participants of the cook-off, vendors at the marketplace, and car cruise-in. Please contact us at 304-661-3778 or wsswildgamecookoff@gmail.com to sign up. The registration deadline is Sept. 29.
