There are big changes at Western Greenbrier Pharmacy in Rupert.  To better serve the residents of western Greenbrier County, the pharmacy constructed a new state-of-the-art facility just across the street from its old location on US Rt. 60.  “We added a drive-thru, completely redesigned the front of the store and enhanced technology to fill medications fast,” said Bob Weed, managing pharmacist and owner.  “We have gone to great lengths to make the parking area and access to the pharmacy easy for our customers,” Weed added.
In addition to the new structure, Western Greenbrier Pharmacy has expanded free delivery services from Smoot to Rainelle, introduced a new mobile app for smartphones and added Saturday hours for customer convenience.  Other new services include a free drug return program, diabetes education services and packaging of weekly medication boxes.  The pharmacy will continue to serve as a UPS shipping center.
“Even though we don’t sell gift items anymore, we have made many changes that enable us to simply focus on pharmacy and provide exceptional care for our patients,” said Weed.  “Be sure to visit us soon and keep business local,” said Weed.  Pharmacy hours are Monday through Friday from 9a.m. to 6p.m. and Saturday from 9a.m. to 12p.m.  For more information, call Western Greenbrier Pharmacy at 304-392-6348.
