The eagerly anticipated results of the August edition of the West Virginia Poll will be released next month at the 77th Annual Meeting and Business Summit to be held at The Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs, Aug. 28-30.

West Virginia Chamber President Steve Roberts said, “The West Virginia Poll has long been recognized as the premier tool providing a stunningly accurate measurement and reflection on the views of our citizens. This year’s report will highlight job approvals for major state leaders and public reaction to several important issues facing our state. Additionally, it will explore the possibility that West Virginia is beginning to experience a political shift that may fundamentally change the state’s future.” {{more}}

The release of the West Virginia Poll, conducted by Repass & Partners, Inc. is scheduled to occur on Friday, Aug. 30 at The Greenbrier Resort on the final day of the Annual Meeting and Business Summit. The release of the poll last year provided telling and accurate insights into how West Virginians were planning to vote in the 2012 General Elections. Rex Repass, CEO of Repass & Partners, said “In more than 30 years of conducting this poll, we know that West Virginians are very insightful about issues that affect their lives. Over the years, results of the West Virginia Poll have had an impact on legislative initiatives and other issues important to state residents.”

The West Virginia Poll is a registered trademark owned by Repass & Partners. A special edition of the West Virginia Poll is conducted each year and released at the Chamber’s Annual Meeting.

The 2013 West Virginia Chamber Annual Meeting and Business Summit is shaping up to have record attendance with over 500 currently registered well over a month before the event. Chamber members wishing to attend may register by visiting www.wvchamber.com or by calling 304-342-1115.
