On Friday, the West Virginia Federation of Democratic Women’s District Three East held a gathering at the Hollerwood house, co-hosted by the Greenbrier County Democratic Women’s Club and the Summers County-based Three Rivers Democratic Women. The event brought together over 60 attendees from Fayette, Greenbrier, Mercer, Monroe, Nicholas, Raleigh, Summers, and Wyoming counties.
In this beautiful setting, community members enjoyed each other’s company, formed new connections, and shared values, strengthening local networks and discussing issues affecting their communities.
In addition to community members, local and statewide candidates, Christina Baisden, Christy Cardwell, Rhanda Faulkner, Vince George, Kent Gilkerson, Sarah Morris, and Sarah Umberger attended the gathering. This provided an opportunity to learn about the candidates’ stances on critical issues within the region.
The West Virginia Federation of Democratic Women, an all-volunteer organization, unites county Democratic Women’s clubs together for the success of the Democratic Party and its candidates.
