The Wendy’s fast food restaurant in Hart’s Run re-opened Wednesday, Sept. 14. It has been closed since the floods in late June. Owner Ray Blackburn noted, “We have a new dining room with two Wi-Fi bars, an electric fireplace, a big-screen TV, registers that can do mobile ordering, fryers that filter and fill themselves, a double-sided grill that cooks meat in four minutes, ovens that cook potatoes in nine minutes rather than an hour, and the restrooms are all touch-free, with changing tables.” (Mark Robinson story and photo)
