Wellington Johnson with Greg Allman, Broker and Jill Allman with Greenbrier Real Estate Service

Wellington Johnson celebrated 50 years in the real estate industry in 2014 and is still going strong! With that amount of experience, he’s truly seen and done it all. He has enjoyed serving the real estate needs of all of his customers in Greenbrier and surrounding counties, and has no plans to let up any time soon.

Wellington attended Marshall University majoring in civil engineering. He served in the US Army occupation forces in Germany and later on as a member of the Army Reserve. He was later called back to active duty and spent one year in Korea.

Wellington purchased Greenbrier Real Estate in 1982 and ran it for over 25 years. In 2008, he sold the company to our current Broker, Greg Allman, and continues to work with us as an Associate Broker.

In his spare time, Wellington enjoys spending time with his family, participating in church activities as a charter member at First Baptist Church in Fairlea, and supporting youth through 4-H clubs and FHA organizations. He currently resides in Lewisburg with his wife Hilda. Together they have three children, Jane, John and Ruth, and five grandchildren. All live in the Lewisburg area.
