Effective Monday, July 6, the City of Lewisburg has withdrawn its water conservation alert. “Water levels in our water tanks have recovered sufficiently so that we are now able to withdraw our water conversation alert,” said Mayor John Manchester. “We appreciate the efforts of our water customers who conserved water over the past week. It bought us some time for the water system to recover after the power outage last weekend. Events like this help keep us focused on the water system improvements that we will make over the next 18-24 months that will reduce the likelihood of needing to issue water conservation alerts.”
