Lend a Hand in Williamsburg
Come lend a hand to help make our community building a brighter, more appealing place for events. ATTENTION: Clintonville, Cornstock, Friars Hill, Trout, Williamsburg and all communities in between. There will be a community building clean at the Williamsburg Community Building, Saturday, July 11, beginning at 9 a.m. We will be painting the walls and thoroughly cleaning every crack and crevice of the building. There will be a pot luck picnic when it is complete for those who lend a hand.
Wellspring of Greenbrier
Annual Summer Book Bonanza
Wellspring of Greenbrier, Inc. welcomes you to their Annual Summer Book Bonanza, July 14-15-16, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Featuring books for the whole family! Come in, browse and enjoy a cup of coffee or juice while you decide which books suit your fancy. The Wellspring Center is located at 524 Nicholas Street (Rt. 60) next to Rupert City Hall. Wellspring of Greenbrier, Inc. is a nonprofit organization assisting the poor, working poor, homeless, transient and disadvantaged people of Greenbrier County.
Benefit Fundraiser for CASA at Sweet Frog
Sweet Frog of Lewisburg, 259 Gateway Blvd. in Lewisburg, is joining CASA of the 11th Judicial Circuit, WV, Inc. for a fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 14. Tell the cashier that you support CASA and ten percent of your purchase will be given back to the group.
AHMH’s July/August schedule
American Heritage Music Hall at Island Park, 315 Monroe Avenue, Ronceverte (website: www.americanheritagemusichall.org) is a nonprofit organization (Ref. IRS 501(c)3) and handicapped accessible. No alcohol and no smoking. All music nights schedule: door opens at 6 p.m., music starts at 7 to 10:30. Break at 8 p.m. for announcements and food.
