Wanda Gail Sheppard

Clintonville-Wanda (Doll) Gail Sheppard, 73, passed away Monday, Apr. 13, 2020. Wanda was born June 24, 1946, in Frankford, WV. She was the daughter of the late Alfred and Martha Loudermilk.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sherman Sheppard; brothers, Denny, Charles, Kenny, Lacy, Harold, Date, Harvey, Lewis (Luke), and Eddie; and sister, Hilda.

Doll is survived by sons, John D. Starcher of Raiford, FL, Kevin Starcher and wife Rachel of Hinton, Dana Sheppard and wife Melody of Front Royal, VA, Michael Sheppard and fiance Christy Cahoon of Covington, VA; daughters, Wanda Myers and husband Sam of Fairlea, and Janet Elmore and Donnie Crouse of Hot Springs, VA; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Dessie Workman of Frankford and Mary (Fannie) Sturgell of Ronceverte; and brother, Estil Loudermilk and wife Janet of Frankford.

Doll was a homemaker for most of her life and enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with her friends.

As per her request, there will be no services. Family and friends will gather at a later time.

McCraw Funeral Home in Frankford is in charge of arrangements.
