Wanda Elaine Workman Knotts, 72, of Frankford, WV, went home to be with Jesus, Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at CAMC Greenbrier Valley Medical Center following a hard-fought battle with cancer. Born November 5, 1951, in Frankford, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Anzel and Lula Bertha Loudermilk Workman. Wanda had retired from Kroger after 32 years as the Office Manager. She was a member of Enon Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, James, Ray, Gary, Bobby, and Donald Workman, her sister and best friend, Betsy Ross Workman Dolan, nephew, Michael Dale Dolan and niece, Kathy Gail Dolan McMillion.
Survivors include her loving devoted husband, John Lynn Knotts, Jr., sons, J.L. Knotts and Ryan Knotts (Nicole), grandsons, Garrett (Lacey), Jaxtyn, Hunter, great grandson, Anzel, special niece, Cheryl Coulter (Richard), friend, Kristie Coffman, several other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great- nephews and many friends.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 13, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel, Lewisburg, with Pastor Jacob Riley and Richie Holliday officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Saturday, October 12, at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service in the Enon Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Robert Hefner officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations of sympathy be made to the James R. Holliday II Memorial Scholarship Fun, 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg, WV 24901.
