Wallace Kenneth Corhn, affectionately known as Kenny, passed away peacefully at the age of 53 on June 15, 2026, at the UVA Medical Center in Charlottesville, VA. Born on Oct. 31, 1972, in Cincinnati, OH, Kenny lived a life marked by quiet generosity, kindness, and an unwavering willingness to support those around him.
A proud graduate of Greenbrier East High School’s Class of 1991, and later Mountain State University, Kenny carried his love of learning throughout his life. His intelligence was evident to all who knew him, complementing his patient and humorous nature that often brought comfort and joy to friends and family.
Kenny’s dedication to service extended beyond everyday kindness; he served honorably in the United States Army for ten years, achieving the rank of Sergeant and participating in Operation Iraqi Freedom. His commitment to his country was steadfast, earning him an honorable discharge and the enduring respect of his comrades and loved ones.
Those who enjoyed Kenny’s company knew him as a man with varied interests. He cherished the simple pleasures of life – savoring coffee, caring deeply for animals, engaging in video games, immersing himself in books, traveling to new places, and captivating audiences with his fascination for crime shows. His multifaceted interests reflected a spirit both thoughtful and adventurous.
Kenny’s legacy lives on through his devoted family: his son Kenneth Tyler Corhn (Paola); his daughter Sierra Corhn; his sisters Virginia Woolverton and Beth Brown (Doug), who he loved dearly; and his grandson Leon Corhn. He is also remembered fondly by numerous nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of friends.
He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Wallace and Bessie Corhn, his sister Christine Corhn, and his niece Brittany Morris.
Visitation will be held on June 19, from 11 AM to 12 noon at Morgan Funeral Home, 252 Montvue Drive in Lewisburg, WV. Following this, a graveside service will take place at the Brown Family Cemetery on Friars Hole Road in Renick, WV, at 1 PM.
Kenny’s remarkable life and enduring kindness have left an indelible imprint on all who were fortunate to know him. His memory will be cherished forever by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched with his quiet strength and compassionate heart.
