Wallace C. Loudermilk, most lovingly known as “Gramps” of Frankford, WV transitioned to his Heavenly home on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at the Lewisburg Healthcare Center in Ronceverte, WV at the age of 90.
Wallace never knew a stranger. During his work careers at the Jack K. Wallace Funeral Home, Hanover Shoe Factory and Kellwood, he made many friends and acquaintances, most of whom, knew him as “Buckshot.” Wallace was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. All down through the years, he and his late wife, Mary, were known for growing enormous gardens that they graciously shared with family, friends and neighbors. After his retirement from Kellwood after over 30 years of service, he enjoyed working on lawn mowers, mowing, staying active with church work and spending time with family and friends.
Wallace was a faithful member of the Enon Baptist Church.
Wallace was preceded in death by his parents, Woodson and Margaret Spencer Loudermilk, wife, Mary Margaret Boggs Loudermilk, daughter Patricia Brookman, infant son and all of his siblings.
Survivors include his son, Jeff, grandson, Adam Lester (Rebecca), great-granddaughters that he cherished, Adilynn and Kiley Lester and their mother, Chelsea Wickline, several nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be held at 2 PM, Tuesday, June 9, at the Enon Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Robert Hefner officiating. There will be no visitation. Online guestbook can be signed at www.morganfh.net. Arrangements entrusted to Morgan Funeral Home, Lewisburg, WV.
